Jedidiah Coffee Company

After six years managing various local coffee shops, we had friends and family encouraging us to start our own Coffeehouse. Because of our love for community and grand adventures, the idea took well, and it took quick! In late 2010 we started dreaming up & planning to open a Laguna Beach Coffee Shop.

Life and its detours and curveballs led us to putting the dream on hold when we were just about to jump in, in the Summer of 2011. We found ourselves back in Embry’s hometown of Dallas-Ft Worth, Texas five years later in 2016, and ended up launching our Mobile Coffee Bar Experience, “Jedidiah Coffee”. We had the honor of being a part of many Special Events, and exploring North Texas with our three kids in tow, but SoCal never stopped calling us home. In 2019 we closed out the business we had built there, and settled back in Laguna to continue the grand adventure!

We’ve been married for seventeen years, and have three stunningly-wild children who we love being around! Like a lot of parents, they are our why. We also carry a fourth child, Jedidiah, in our hearts. It has been our joy and honor to carry Jedidiah’s name and legacy into our business, as we remember him daily.

We find the process of craft coffee absolutely incredible, and have fallen in love with how coffee cultivates community. In 2019 we added “Coffee Roasters” to our resume, and have loved how it has allowed us to be even more involved in not only the coffee process, but in our community!

Gathering around a good cup of coffee, with a warm & inviting atmosphere encourages people to engage with their unique story, and THIS is why we exist as Jedidiah Coffee!
