A Street Party with Santa Claus

Every first Friday in December, Laguna Beach celebrates Hospitality Night. Happenings occur in the downtown Laguna Beach village, along Forest Avenue. 

When

Friday, December 2, from 5 to 10 p.m.

Downtown Driving and Parking

Street closures in the downtown area will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Portions of Forest Avenue, Ocean Avenue, Beach Street, and the Peppertree Parking Lot will be closed to vehicular traffic prior to and during the event.

Schedule of Events

• 3:30pm Downtown street closures begin*
• 4:00pm - 11:00pm Free trolley service
• 5:15pm - 5:45pm Elementary school choirs performs 
• 5:00pm - 5:30pm Thurston Middle School Band performs in the Peppertree Lot
• 5:00pm - 7:00pm Enjoy holiday crafts and activities in the Peppertree Lot
• 5:30pm - 5:55pm Ukulele Band performs in the Peppertree Lot
• 6:15pm - 7:00pm Community Concert Band performs
• 6:00pm - 6:10pm Community sing along in Peppertree Lot
• 6:10pm Santa Claus arrives at the Peppertree Lot to light the tree
• 6:30pm - 9:30pm Santa Claus arrives at his stage deck to listen to children's Christmas wishes
• 6:45pm - 10:00pm Business open houses and live music on stage at the Coast Highway end of Forest Avenue

*Lower Forest Avenue will be filled with entertainment and merchant open houses. Street closures in the downtown area will begin at 3:30pm on Friday. Portions of Forest Avenue, Beach Street, and the Pepper Tree Parking Lot will be closed to vehicular traffic prior to and during the event.
