Stars, stripes and bursting fireworks, it’s the Fourth of July!
Here’s how to make the most of your fourth here in Laguna Beach from the best spots to watch the fireworks show to special restaurant offers and tips on how to make your day a real blast.
Tip number one: No matter what you choose to do in town this weekend make sure to come early, very early.
PARKING can be tough on a holiday weekend so scope out your parking spot before you come into town. There are several paid parking lots throughout the city and limited metered street parking. The number of hours you are allowed to park in metered spots vary and are noted on the meter. Be sure to watch your watch to avoid a ticket. City lots offer all day parking for one flat rate that can be purchased at kiosks within each lot.
Take advantage of the FREE trolley. On July 4th, the FREE TROLLEY will be running on a modified schedule from 9:00am to 7:00pm.
We all know that those fancy explosions in the sky are the main attraction on Independence Day. THE FIREWORKS SHOW in Laguna Beach takes place in Heisler Park at Monument Point. The show begins at approximately 9pm and that area of the park will be closed at 5pm in preparation. Every year Heisler Park is covered in picnic blankets hiding nearly every blade of grass by noon, so if you plan to stay and watch the fireworks, we recommend you arrive early to stake your claim on the grass.
Watch the light show from the lap of luxury at one of these locations.

Get Social: If you happen to snap any pictures while in town, post them to social media and tag them with #MyLagunaBeach for a chance to be featured on our social accounts.
Note: Although the firework show in Laguna is spectacular, please note that the City of Laguna Beach does NOT allow handheld fireworks of any kind anywhere in town.
