Laguna Kelp Beds Terry Thornsley , 1992 Terry’s sculptures leave no doubt about his feelings for the ocean. Terry said, "Before creating this bronze I would often dive in Laguna’s once abundant kelp beds for artistic inspiration. My life-sized bronze of sea lions in kelp now serves as a memorial to undisturbed natural well being. Perhaps someday we will see kelp return to our shores."
