Pearl Dan Skaggs , 2007 Describing his work Dan Skaggs said, “Pearl is a term surfers would use to describe the wave that breaks off the rocks at the beach at the end of this street. The sculpture was inspired by the large rock sitting in the sand at this beach and the waves breaking on it at high tide.”
