Girls Getaway in Laguna Beach

Sometimes you just need to get away and escape with your favorite girlfriends. Let Laguna Beach be your perfect haven for girls who just want to have fun.

DAY 1

We're thrilled for you to experience the bliss and charm of Laguna Beach. A lot of this itinerary will be based in our delightful downtown area, and Laguna Beach House and The Inn at Laguna Beach are two hideaways ideally situated a short walk from many of the restaurants, galleries and shops.

AFTERNOON

You must try and will LOVE shopping around downtown. From Forest Avenue to the smaller side streets, Laguna is crawling with local, small businesses that carry various merchandise that you can only find right in town.

Amenah: Co-founders Amelia and Hannah have recently opened Amenah, a brand and boutique that means "honest girl" in Arabic and happens to be a combination of their names. After both working in the fashion and design industry for years, they decided to build a brand for women by women based on integrity and inclusivity. Amenah's customized size chart was built so women can stop feeling restricted by the number inside their clothing. They also have their own perfume, cold pressed soaps, aromatic bath salts, candles, and jewelry line which both Amelia and Hannah have their specific taste, design aesthetic, and hand in creating.

Gorjana: It all started when Gorjana Reidel had a desire to design accessible fine jewelry. Her brand's first and flagship store is right in Laguna Beach, with one of her most successful and versatile pieces being named after the town.

Other Downtown Shops: Simple Laguna, Areo, Laguna Supply

EVENING

Dinner at Oak Laguna Beach

Executive Chef Nick Shipp brings Oak Laguna Beach to life through his defined vision of serving artful and beautifully plated California cuisine in a comfortable setting. They even have Champagne on tap!

DAY 2

MORNING

ROOTS the Beauty Underground : Laura Linsenmayer is redefining cosmetic culture right in Laguna Beach, and we know this will be a hit on your girls' trip. After working in the beauty industry for years and weary of the unaudited and harmful space, she ventured on her own and opened a non-toxic cosmetic store. Everything she advocates and sells are free of cancer causing chemicals and produce real results for your skin. Her goal is always to educate and slowly phase you into a life-long nontoxic journey, which is why she and her team provide complimentary skincare consultations to analyze your current regimen and habits. Come sans makeup and bring your cosmetic bag, brushes and skin care routine to learn all about what Laura calls a magical vortex and healing space. After leaving ROOTS, literally stop and smell the flowers at the customizable flower stand outside.

AFTERNOON

Head to Active Culture, this locally-loved café and frozen yogurt bar with a filling and affordable meal that you can either enjoy at Active Culture or take out as you head to one of Laguna's many beaches. Bring your food, a blanket, your beach-ready outfit, and cameras to hang out and snag some guaranteed fire photo opportunities of Laguna's beauty and your squad. You've got over 30 beaches to choose from and they're all beautiful, but Victoria Beach, Table Rock, and Shaw's Cove are a few locally loved locations that would create picture-perfect moments.

Afterward, head to Vertigo Home, a curated boutique with high-end furniture and design so aesthetically pleasing, you'll never want to leave. Since you unfortunately cannot make this space your home, they have fantastic uncommon goods that would make ideal take home gifts. Other great home stores: Huit and Nuance Home.

Right up the street you'll find Pearl St. General, a specialty store filled with gourmet food, wine, and beer. In the back, stumble into the eclectic and whimsical Seahorse Lounge, a sensational speakeasy that your ladies will love. Sit down for Happy Hour and 100% order a drink and some bites to share.

EVENING

For dinner, we adore Chris Olsen's Laguna Beach Wine Gallery and his carefully curated and consistently updated list of excellent bottles. Ask questions, taste, sip, and relish this gem that is overflowing with true passion for quality wining and dining.

Push through the slight wine sleepiness and make it to Marine Room Tavern, a casual and artsy neighborhood staple where you can drink, play pool, and enjoy their nightly live entertainment. If you and your girls are feeling that extra push to stay out, The Sandpiper is a true late-night dive bar that may or may not be a little fuzzy in your memory the next morning.

DAY 3

MORNING

Lazily meander to breakfast at Zinc Café & Market for classic and fresh California cooking and vibes, with locals young and old chatting and catching up in the café's garden seating.

The more you explore, the more you'll discover marvelous finds through Laguna. Soak in the downtown area one more time and hop through some galleries, like Avran Art Studio or Elena Bulatova Fine Art. This town is busting with such a diverse and colorful art scene, it is a must exploration on your girl's trip.

AFTERNOON

Have fresh and authentic Mediterranean coastal fare at Zeytoon Café, while sitting on their colorful rooftop overlooking the Pacific coast. After sharing a Mezza Sampler and other delicious dishes, return to those shops where you had an eye on something and wanted to revisit. We get it, you wanted to think about it and not be too rash in your buying decisions, but now is that time to get that one-of-a-kind piece or precious, locally-made item.

Watch the sunset from The Deck, Laguna's only restaurant located right on the sand. Come for Happy Hour and stay for Dinner at this seafood-centric restaurant.

EVENING

With various live music options going on all weekend, you will find a good time at Mozambique. Drink and dance to your heart's content and then take advantage of their offer of a free ride back to your accommodation (as long as it's in a 3-mile radius).

DAY 4

MORNING

On your last morning, soak in the beach one more time. Whether it's doing a group yoga session or exploring the sea caves during low tides, have a relaxing and calming morning on the sand. Afterward, make your way over to Urth Caffé for a Southern California breakfast. Don't miss out on one of their specialty coffee drinks or organic teas. If you're looking for a road snack after you check out, head to Sergio's Empanadas. They are buttery, flaky, and will be a lovely last bite of Laguna.
